About the Accountant position

We are looking for a Accountant to join our team and manage our company's accounting tasks on a daily basis. You will help to maintain order and transparency of company’s finances, working together with our team of accounting professionals. Your work will contribute to raise company's awareness of its financial condition and thus increase the overall efficiency of our operations.

Your duties will include preparation of financial statements and reports. We expect you to be well aware of accounting principles and best practices, and be able to perform calculations with keen attention to detail efficiently.

About the Position

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping.
  • Create invoices and credit memos and assist in revenue recognition as per ASC 606 guidelines.
  • Processing all the bills via Airbase (vendor processing platform) and classifying the expenses accurately.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations for 200+ transactions every month.
  • Participate in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
  • Provide audit support and related evidence.
  • Process 1099 forms, filings, excise tax returns, and calculations
  • Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and related tax filings (employee withholding, unemployment account, workers' compensation).
  • Manage and maintain corporate insurance policies, renewals, and premium payments.

Position Requirements:

  • 4+ years' experience in accounting
  • Experience with basic accounting and financial practices.
  • Experience with Quickbooks, Airbase (or similar spend management platform), and Google Workspace
  • Strong team player skills with close attention to detail
  • Good analytical, numerical, and presentational skills
  • BSc or BA degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant areas.
